  • Unlimited tools

What Credits Cover​

  • 1 credit for one successful AI response
  • 1 credit for one standard page ingest or refresh
  • 2 credits for one rendered or advanced extraction ingest
  • 0 credits for cached responses
  • 0 credits for failed requests or failed jobs

Top-Up Credits​

If you exhaust your balance before the next allocation:

  • Paid plans can buy a top-up pack instantly from the billing page
  • Top-up credits are added immediately
  • Top-up credits do not expire
  • You receive a confirmation email when a top-up is granted successfully
  • Free-plan users must upgrade to a paid plan after the initial 500 lifetime credits are exhausted
  • You can also upgrade to a larger recurring plan if you expect the spike to continue

Billing Alerts​

  • Hunch sends low-credit warning emails at 25%, 10%, and 0% of your base plan allocation
  • Paid users can respond by buying a top-up or upgrading
  • Free users must upgrade after the initial lifetime credits are exhausted

Choosing the Right Plan​

Consider these factors when choosing:

  1. Number of websites: Free = 1, Starter = 1, Professional = 3
  2. Expected monthly usage: Estimate AI responses and page ingests together
  3. Need for rollover: Paid plans retain unused credits for later
  4. External AI access: Starter supports standard MCP access, while Professional adds live browser/session MCP scope

Upgrading Your Plan​

To upgrade:

  1. Log into your Hunch dashboard
  2. Go to Settings > Billing
  3. Select your new plan
  4. Enter payment details
  5. Confirm your subscription

Downgrading​

You can downgrade your plan at any time. Changes take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. Your current features will remain available until then.
